To place a prayer concern on
St. Lucas' PRAYER CHAIN,
please contact Helen Schreiber at 479-5815.
We will pray for you!

The Christ Candle on the altar at St. Lucas is present
as a symbol to help remind us to pray continually
for all those serving in the U.S. Military
who are in harm's way during these days.
It also reminds us that God is uniquely present
with all His people during times of suffering.
"I have observed the misery of My peope...
I have heard their cry...
Indeed I know their sufferings..."
(Exodus 3:7)

Please especially include these people in your prayers:

  • Ryan Ackerman, U.S. Marines
  • Louis Bost III, U.S. Army
  • David Hargett, U.S. Army Reserves
  • Tina Kracke, U.S. Army
  • Elizabeth Spradley, USAF

 Sometimes you don't know:

  • How to pray for a friend.
  • What your friend's needs are.
  • Why you feel like you need to pray for your friend.

Try inserting your friend's name into this prayer:

"Heavenly Father,
Bless my friend in whatever it is that You know they may be needing this day!  And may their life be full of Your peace, prosperity and power as they seek to have a closer relationship with You.   Amen"
